Body of Young Robertson Is Believed Drowned in River
A search party at Piney Shoals failed to locate the body of Young Robertson after he disappeared mid river while swimming with companions near McCreery. Bolin and divers caution the current may carry the body, with two boats scanning the area all day. Robertson, son of J C Robertson of Montcalm, had been working at Winding Gulf mines the past two months. Burial arrangements were to be handled by Mercer Funeral Home once recovered.
