Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Friday at the Helen Community Church with the Key, statph tiple in charge. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The body will remain at the Williams Funeral Home until 5 pm Thursday. The service will be moved to the church one hour prior to services. Pallbearers include Taff Galtimore Jake Greer Chile Laster Marty Maynor Jacy Milan Walda Thammer Paul Hawers and Bill Lasix.

He is survived by wife Mrs Lizzie Cook Goble of Ince bue other daughter Mrs Arlene Nicholas of Jacksonville Florida. Three sons Dennis and James both of Oceana, and William J of Kopperston. One brother John Goble at West Van Lear, Kentucky, two sisters Miss Dave Cornett of Preslanghurs Kentucky, not Mrs Ballach Setser of Twe schentt, two grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The beds was taken Tuesday from the Ryans Funeral ore din Orcima to the Richmond-Cal 3 Funeral Wane in Inez.
Mrs Dempsey 74 of Fayetteville will be buried at Huse Memorial in Fayetteville after funeral services at First Church of God. Rev William Dreger will officiate. She died Monday night in a Montgomery hospital. Born March 4 189? in Summers County, she was daughter of Wade and Mary Akers. Survived by husband Rey and children Seth Alderson Dempsey Myrtle Shaver Faye Sahoda and four brothers and two sisters.
In Danville two ministers argued during Sunday service at the Church of Gar Foundust amid a dispute over McGuire’s policies. McGuire reportedly tried to deliver a sermon but was interrupted forcing others to the pews as police noted conflicting reports about the incident.
The sheriff said the murder case involving burglary larceny and aggravated assault progressed with firearms used by the killer. Two shotguns were employed in the shooting of Smith and deputy Look, who faced a service revolver incident during the investigation.

Infant daughter of WM and Baume Willis Keaton died recently and was laid to rest in a graveside service in Oneotex Alabama after brief illness. Surviving siblings include a twin sister and another sister Anna Marie. Paternal grandfather Buckley Keaton and maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Golf Willis attended the funeral in Beckley area.

Funeral services for Miss Mable G Thompson 49 Cleveland Ohio formerly Beckley West Virginia will be held at 2 p m Friday in the Mellon Mortuary Chapel with Rev Robert McCoburn in charge. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Miss Thompson died at Cleveland hospital after a brief illness born March 16 1936 in Roll Mareh. She was a daughter of Owen J Thompson and the late Tifie Worley Thompson who preceded her in death. She was a resident of Cleveland for 17 years. Surviving are brother Sheldern Thompson of Cleveland. Visitation at Mellon Mortuary after 3 p m Thursday.
Mrs Lucille Plummer secretary of the SCLC St Augustine chapter reports a green pickup full of white men fled the scene as a fire set under a petroleum tank damaged but did not harm her family. A white girl tutor present identified as Carl Blakenherder 18 a South College student in Northampton Mass. Fire chief says arson likely and will request state fire marshal inquiry.
Final tally shows independence weekend traffic deaths at 57, near the all-summer-high of prior years. California reported 34 deaths, with New York and other states following. the four-day holiday stretch began Friday evening and ended Monday midnight local time.
Morgantown AFI reports two men dead and a six month old girl badly hurt in a station wagon logging truck crash on U S 19 near Laurel Point. Victims were Robert Pyles 43 and Susan Soles Sullenberger 32 of Greensboro Virginia. Also severely injured was Michelle Sullenberger. Mrs Sullenberger was driving left of center when her car struck a truck driven by Robert Johnson of Uniontown Pa. The crash adds to the state fatality toll reaching 214 for the year with deaths from a related anteitrail incident at Lestan June 14.
CHARLESTOWN UPI A joint bid of 1 509 440 dollars from Pinsborough and Rancevette firms was the apparent low figure to the State Road Commission today for the substructure of the Ohio River Interstate 77 bridge linking Wilkamstown Wo Van and Anavigta Ohio. The bid covers two abutments four T beams and six river piers for a project valued around five million dollars to be the state’s most expensive river crossing. Herman Huntant said the low bid for the I-77 projects in Jackson County was also submitted today by Mountaint Construct Co of Culloden to build bridges over relocated Sec 1 and relocated Sec 3 for 385 227 dollars. Each bridge will use concrete substructures and three contiguous T beam spans.
In Santo Domingo the D R rebels opened fire Tuesday night on Inter American Peace Force troops triggering a gunfight along the security corridor. A peace force spokesman said rebels began shelling positions held by Nicaraguan and Brazilian troops across the corridor. The rebel spokesman called the firing an act of intimidation and said tracer ammunition lit the air.

Kilgore Kilgore, 32, of Wheeling, sentenced to 50 days in jail after a firework stunt on Fort Heavy Bridge during the Munich 1101 fireworks display. He climbed 200 feet, dropping crackers into the Slo Ola River as rockets flew overhead. Police struggled to bring him down. Pas ten, 26, was fined $20 for drunkenness and disorderly conduct. Kilgore completed his fourth jail term after about 75 minutes on the bridge.
