CHARLESTOWN UPI A joint bid of 1 509 440 dollars from Pinsborough and Rancevette firms was the apparent low figure to the State Road Commission today for the substructure of the Ohio River Interstate 77 bridge linking Wilkamstown Wo Van and Anavigta Ohio. The bid covers two abutments four T beams and six river piers for a project valued around five million dollars to be the state’s most expensive river crossing. Herman Huntant said the low bid for the I-77 projects in Jackson County was also submitted today by Mountaint Construct Co of Culloden to build bridges over relocated Sec 1 and relocated Sec 3 for 385 227 dollars. Each bridge will use concrete substructures and three contiguous T beam spans.
