Rotary International will charter a new Summersville club in District 735 with 6 p m charter dinner at the new Summersville auditorium. Beckley representative E E Bibb announced Montgomery Club sponsors the Summersville group, with Beckley members Ralph Amick T A Wilson and Dr Walter Griswold among attendees. The Reary Ideal started in 1905 and by 1968 the organization had 13 490 clubs worldwide.

A Sacramento woman on Moo Avenue was arrested for trespassing after a confrontation with officers at 6 50 p m Monday. In Raleigh County a 1967 model car driven by Marvin L Pack collided with another vehicle. several arrests followed for drunken driving and absence without leave from the military. A two car collision on County Road 198 in Beckley resulted in 1500 dollars damage and fines for the drivers. Police report state police charges and citations, with some initial misidentifications corrected.

Born April 13, 1913 in Dunmore she taught at Beaver Grade School and Tiskelwah Elementary. survived by multiple relatives and a son.
