Eleanor in Winter: Power Shifts Across Centuries
A film review contrasts Eleanor of Aquitaine’s 12th century authority with modern American women. It notes Eleanor’s control of two nations, her war role beside her husband, and her independent sense of worth, while linking themes to The Lion in Winter and contemporary views on gender and family dynamics.
