Justice of the Peace Jurisdiction Absent in Rural Districts
J K Cole of Rhodell West Virginia argues before a public forum that the 1945 West Virginia legislature should standardize justice of the peace jurisdiction by district rather than county wide. He contends rural districts lack local justice as cases are moved to Beckley, urging a “fare brake” system and district based authority under state law.
