Mary Kathleen Cook daughter of Roy Cook of Wyco wed Orville Ray Wheeler son of Mr and Mrs V I V Wheeler at 4 pm in the Methodist Temple. Dr Ritchie Ware officiated as pianist Mrs Earl Snead accompanied nuptial music. The bride wore a white wool street length dress with stole and veil, white feather hat and pearl jewelry. Attendant was Mrs Carlos Lyler. best man Claude Wheeler with ushers Charles McCormick Sam Jackson Charlie Jackson Aubrey Jackson. Newlyweds left for a wedding trip. The bride will resume studies at Concord College majoring in psychology while employed as the Fourth Armored Division college nurse. Wheeler is a 1940 Woodrow Wilson High School graduate attended Blue Ridge Prep and Glenville State College. to graduate in June.

Miss Marjorie Crickmer and Wayne Preston Byers Jr were married in a double ring ceremony at the Crickmer home. The bride, a Mark Twain High School and Salem College alumna, will reside in Morgantown with her husband after a Virginia honeymoon. The groom, a West Virginia University electrical engineering student, served as a fighter pilot in the Air Corps.
