At least 12 killed in a Portland to San Francisco Greyhound crash on Interstate 5 near Grants Pass Oregon during freezing rain. Nine died at the scene, three later in hospitals as emergency crews aided survivors amid widespread holiday fatalities. Police note a deadly chain of accidents from the black ice condition.
