Superintendent James Pizzino said 45 students have been absorbed into Glen Fork and John McGraw grade schools with staff reassigned and equipment moved. Parents initially protested bus transport to other schools.

Burial at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Albert died Sunday at a local hospital after a long illness. Also today at Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home funeral arrangements are incomplete for Claude Hall of Harper Heights who died Monday in a Fayette County nursing home.
