Bible Sunday and UN Day Highlight Sermon at St Stephen’s
The Rt Rev Wilburn C Campbell preached at St Stephen’s Episcopal Church noting Bible and United Nations Day as linked search for human rights. He called Marxism Christian heresy and warned that removing Bible from schools erodes inherent God given rights. He also commented on public reaction to school prayer and confirmed eleven adults and nine children at service, with a post service reception. A Hebron fire in Rhodell destroyed Arthur Phillips’ home, only saving a Bible and a few books. Phillips, dependent on public assistance, now lives with a neighbor as residents canvas support.
