Fatality in Helen Robert Shelor Mine Death
A miner named Helen Robert Shelor, 40, was accidentally killed by a fall of rock last Saturday in the Helen mine. He leaves a wife and seven children. The body was prepared for burial by H. T. Caffee and sent to his former home in Virginia.

Mr and Mrs C E Milbee were honored guests at a miscellaneous surprise shower hosted by Misses Leah Juby and Ethel Martin at their South Kanawha Street home last Wednesday evening.
