Nick Rahal, 165 pounds out of Beckley and a WVU recruit disappointment, becomes Syracuse star and 1950 AP All-America honorable mention as coach Floyd Schwartzwalder hails him as the best college tackle seen. Injury limited his sophomore season to six games, yet he stands as a testament to overlooked talent.
