Wyoming Verdict Appeal Granted Consolidated Bus Lines Case
The Supreme Court granted an appeal to Consolidated Bus Lines from a 7500 dollar Wyoming circuit jury verdict won by Ruth Frampton of Bluefield New Jersey. Judge Jo N Kenna would have denied the appeal. The action stemmed from injuries Frampton said resulted from a collision on November 24 1947 involving her husband driving and a Consolidated Company bus on the Beckley Mullens road. The company argued the evidence did not support the verdict.
