Shady District Bus Changes With New Shady Spring High
Raleigh County Schools say all bus routes stay the same this year except in Shady Spring District. Everett Underwood, Director of Transportation, cites opening of Shady Spring High School, conversion of the old school to a junior high, and the closure of Glen Leigh and Beaver Elementary schools. Glen Leigh pupils move to Beaver Elementary while Crow pupils go to Daniels Elementary. All first through sixth graders in Blue Jay No. 6 area will attend Ghent Elementary.
