Barnard Funeral Services Set for Lucille Barnard
Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Druisiia Barnard of Packsville will be held 2 pm Tuesday at Packsville Freewill Baptist Church led by Rev. Virgil Cook. Burial follows in Eunice Cemetery at Arnett. Mrs. Barnard, 59, died Saturday in Beckley after a long illness attributed to cancer. Survivors include three sons Richard of Cleveland Ohio Ralph of Packsville and Charles of California, a daughter Mrs. Dorothy Obugene of Beckley, three sisters and three grandchildren. Body from Valley Funeral Home Whitesville to residence Monday at 1 pm.

Two Fayette Men Waive To Action Of Grand Jury
Two Oak Hill men Jack Garrison 28 and his father John Garrison 66 waived to the action of the Grand Jury on a breaking and entering charge. They were arrested Friday night for breaking into the home of C. C. Skaggs in Salem. State Police Sgt H D Gibbs and Trooper J R Lilly of the Oak Hill Detachment filed the charges and posted bond at 1000 each. Other defendants included Harry E Holmes 35 Hilltop cited for reckless driving and driving without licenses.

A stove gas explosion, a car crash, a snake bite, and other mishaps sent five people to Wyeening General Hospital over the weekend.
