Milom Promoted to District Traffic Manager at Beckley
John J Milom of 105 Crescent Road has been promoted to District Traffic Manager for the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company in Beckley. A Charleston native and Morris Harvey College alum, Milom joined in 1943 as a telephone frame man and later led roles in traffic and plant. he moved to Beckley in 1956 as District Traffic Supervisor, succeeding Earl R Stalnak er who moved to Charleston as District Traffic Manager. West Virginia Telephone Co also named W M Ellinghaus Comptroller and Carl F Knowles to replace him, with Thomas M Gibbons set to replace Knowles as division traffic manager.

Five members attended the Thursday afternoon meeting of the Bright Light Mission Circle of the Rose of Sharon Church in the home of Mrs. Mamie White 308 Maple Wood Lane.
