Sam Green Extradition in Roanoke Case
Sam Green, wanted in Raleigh County for grand larceny and allied charges, was captured in Roanoke Virginia last week and held for extradition. He allegedly robbed his brother in law at Tams, resisted arrest striking Officer Price, fled, stole clothing, and escaped before surrender. Extradition papers were requested from Governor Morgan and expected to be honored.

Suspect Held for Grand Jury in Murder Case
Grady Mitchem is held by Fayette County authorities pending grand jury action for the murder of his partner Ray Treadway. Mitchem had been arrested after returning to Raleigh County with Treadway, following a theft of an Essex car from W. J. Hutchinson at Lester. Treadway was later found dead near Cannelton in Fayette County.

Asa Breedon jailed on pistol toting charge escaped Friday evening while going to feed pigs. He had a 12 month sentence and 200 dollar fine plus costs, held pending transfer to Moundsville, and previously earned privileges for good behavior. Chamber Meets Thursday in Bair building chambers.
