West Virginia Passes New Game and Fish Law
West Virginia enacts a three member Game and Fish Commission appointed by the governor. The law creates enforcement powers for game protectors sheriffs and police, requires U S citizenship for hunting, and sets detailed seasons bag limits and prohibitions for elk deer wild turkey ruffed grouse quail ducks woodcocks snipe foxes and other wildlife plus fish and dam rules and Sunday hunting ban.
