In Stuart Florida four prisoners were killed in a jail cell when mattresses were set ablaze with magazines Sheriff Robert L Crowder said the incident occurred Monday night at the Martin County jail He offered no explanation for the fire and the cause remained under investigation by authorities.

Prison couple's escape attempt ends in double tragedy
