An official Commons statement is expected. three documents will be released by midnight including a cease fire appeal, a letter to Nehru to reconvene the supervisory commission, and invitations to the Geneva Laos talks.

VA Plans Award For 5800 Hr Volunteer At Beckley VA
Mrs. J. R. Williams of 209 Central Ave will receive top honors at the Veterans Administration Volunteer Service Awards at 2 30 p m May 7 in Beckley VA Hospital main auditorium. She has totaled 5800 volunteer hours over 11 years, began in 1950 in the chapel, arranging Sundays with a soloist volunteers and flowers. A representative of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 32, she has served under five chaplains including Rev Lyle Snyder and Rev Shirley Donnelly. Her duties also include work in the gift shop Cheer parties and Registrar Division alongside her hospital roles as receptionist information clerk and mail clerk. Her interest in volunteer work began during World War II when the Greenbrier became Ashford General Hospital. May 7 will honor many VAVS workers.

West Virginia Chemical will keep operations at the Khemkhan plant in Scarbro with a possible new Oak Hill Fayetteville plant later on donated land from Pat Caldwell. Samuel J. Troutman of Albuquerque becomes executive vice president and general manager. Troutman, educated at Washington and Jefferson, previously led positions at Montgomery Ward and J C Penney. East German shepherd leads 500 sheep into West Berlin
An East German shepherd guided his entire flock of 500 sheep across the border into West Berlin with the bellwether first. Border police failed to stop the crossing. The shepherd received asylum in a refugee camp while the flock was given to a West Berlin armer for safekeeping.

Barron Hesitant On Special Call
