Miner Dies After Jeep Car Crash At Cimala Mine
DAN WESLEY, 46, of Ravencliff, was fatally stricken at the wheel of his Jeep while preparing to drive home after a shift at the Emil Cimala mine in Maben. The accident occurred at 2 a.m. colleagues found the vehicle motionless. Wesley’s body was taken to Sam Fogleson Funeral Home in Mullens for examination.

Collision on Route 3 Kills Saxon Man
A 41 young Saxon man, Hubert Daniel, died instantly when a 1956 car collided with a 1956 truck driven by George Bowyer in Raleigh County.
