He was 72 and pastored Greater Mountain Zion Baptist Church Holden and Mount Olive Baptist Church Braeholm. He led the 10th District Sunday School Conference and served on multiple Baptist and NAACP boards. Survivors include his widow Willie Mae and a son. Body at Logan Funeral Home.
