Mrs Dorothy Taylor 45 former Oak Hill resident died Monday in Wilmington Delaware hospital after a short illness due to a heart condition. Her survivors include mother Mrs Alice Pettit two daughters Mrs Endine Reeves and Mrs La Drema Pack a son Noel and two sisters and three brothers. Funeral services planned Friday at the Jones Ave Church of God Oak Hill with Rev Norman Poster officiating. Burial in Blake Cemetery Oak Hill. Body remains at Tyree Funeral Home until hour before services.

Pneumonia Claims Lawrence Dean Edwards at Mullens
Graveside rites for Lawrence Dean Edwards son of Mr and Mrs Lawrence Edwards of Pineville will be led by Rev Norman Morgan at NH a.m. Thursday. Burial is in Rhodesfield McDowell County Cemetery. The child died of pneumonia Monday at 1 30 p.m. in a Mullens hospital before his first birthday on April 30. Surviving are three brothers Kenneth Rowan Michael Gene Paul Douglas and Brenda Carol and the grandparents. The body will be moved from Robertson and Foglesong Funeral Home to the Edwards residence at 3 p.m. today.

Bicycle Car Collision Injures Fayette Youth
A 10-year-old Fayetteville boy, Bob Astre, suffered a severe head cut and body bruises when his bicycle collided with a car driven by Gary Underwood near his Abbot Addition home at 6 30 p m Monday. He was treated by Dr B S Collins and taken to Laird Memorial Hospital in Montgomery for X rays and observation. State Police investigate the accident.

Metropolitan Antony of the Antiochean Archdiocese in New York has sent Rev Deacon John Newcombe of London to assist in St Nicholas Church Beckley and in the parish missions.
