Body of Walter Cummings Found by a Boy in River Drift
Baileysville resident Walter Franklin Cummings aged 49 was found yesterday by a youngster in a river drift. Foul play ruled out at an inquest led by Magistrate Kenn Shannon. He had been missing since March 16 after leaving his home and resigning as president of the Wyoming Local Union of the Red Jacket Coal Corp. Survived by wife Martha, two daughters, one brother and three sisters. Funeral set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Beaver Cemetery Baileysville.
