Attorney General Bushnell submitted to the Governor that Cook county earns twenty two representatives under the latest census and new Constitution, replacing fifteen. The Governor issued a supplementary proclamation ordering elections accordingly. The French Sanitary Fair ended last night with total receipts near 880,000 including donations to the Orphan Asylum and Benevolent Societies. Fourty seven thousand dollars of the sanitary fund has been sent to France. A Tours cablegram acknowledges a 12,500 subscription in aid of the Government. Joseph Dion of Montreal is expected around October 5 to duel John Deery for 2,000. The North Pacific railway survey from Puget Sound to Vancouver is complete and deemed practicable. Oregon population about 91,000 and Washington Territory 30,000.
