Mining Sensation Near Caribou Rocks Denver
A recent discovery six miles west of Caribou reveals an immense silver ledge system about three feet wide traced over five miles. Assays range from 75 to 1000 dollars per ton. The surrounding formations are primary granite and ore contains galena rock and gray sulphurets. A large number of men are already at work, making it the sensation of the mining region.
