Four youths aged 16 to 20 on the New York and Boston Railroad site found four cans of nitro glycerine. They dropped a stone on the cans causing a massive explosion heard for miles. Two boys were horribly mutilated with limbs blown off, while the other two were badly wounded but may recover.
