Campaign subscribers of the Weekly Wie are warned their terms expire November 15 1872 and this will be the last issue they are entitled to. One more issue will be sent to allow renewal. Subscriptions for 1873 will be free for the remainder of the year for renewing subscribers. Send in names promptly. Elsewhere unofficial returns from Adams county show Maj. Burns 48 over Grover in State Senate race. Republicans ahead in some districts while Democrats win most of the rest.
The city announces a grand illumination and final torch light procession tonight in honor of Tuesday's Republican victory. Republicans are urged to respond to this last call of the campaign of 1872.
A Pike county special reports Republicans show a modest victory margin with Greeley ahead by 173 and Knapp over Matthews by 143, with one town yet to report. Seymour led by 275 in 1888, and while success is not complete, effort is acknowledged as merited.
