Property Exchanges Discussed In Pari

Associated Press reports in Paris on May 28 that German property in the United States and American property in Germany are being studied ahead of notes to resolve the swap. German property in the U S outside ships is about 450 million dollars while American property in Germany is about 190 million. Germans say American property is practically intact and could be returned if the U S adopts a similar approach. They stress the U S private property principle and view German property in the United States as semi governmental and not fully private property.
