A Quincy convention gathered to back a Quincy to Nebraska City railroad. Delegates from Lewis Knox Adair Sullivan and other counties discussed routing via Kirksville and Keokuk Glasgow prospects. The meeting endorsed Missouri law, formed a 13 member committee, and pledged county and city support for a preliminary survey and stock subscriptions.
