Levy for Storm Tax Cut to 15000 Dollars
The emergency levy for bridge repairs will total 15000 dollars, not 35000 as reported. The levy stays under one and a half mills with 25 cents per 100 dollars allowed. State law authorizes municipalities to cover storm damage. Inquiries say this amount should fund needed repairs. Sparrows nest in cave troughs and behind blinds, causing gutter overflow and water damage.
