The County Attorney of Adams County, Quincy, invites sealed bids by June 15 1915 at noon for coal wood electric light printing and miscellaneous supplies for the county and town of Quincy. Bids must specify coal mines and delivery terms F O B Paloma station or to the court house coal hole, and contractors must enter written contracts with bonds. The committee may reject any bid and will select the best lowest offer based on merits and price.

Jacksonville June reports the Pacific Hotel company, a new Minis corporation with 12000 paid capital, took possession of the East State street hotel before noon. S. M. Campbell, a well known local businessman, will run the hotel. Stockholders include Frank H. Bode of Jacksonville and George E. Lee of the Jageman Bode company in Springfield.
In Adams County Court a petition filed by Thomas Nolan seeks to declare Thelma Shaw a dependent child. A writ has issued and the hearing is set for Friday June 18 1915 at 2 p.m. in the County Court room. Jessie Shaw may appear to show cause why the child should not be declared dependent.
