Bodies found of three American cowboys after border raid
In Hachita New Mexico on February 16 three American cowboys Andrew Peterson Hugh Acord and Burton Jensen kidnapped during a Mexican border raid were found slain on the Mexican side three miles south of Monument No 43. The victims aged 38 32 and 22 were shot in the head their clothing torn and signs of a fierce struggle noted. U Boats Day Log Reports British Losses and Frontline Actions
In the last twenty four hours three British steamers Cilicia Margarita and Ferga were sunk by submarines. The British war office reports no gain in France though a raiding party near Guedecourt took prisoners. German forces reached a British post near Ypres but were repulsed with losses.
