Personal updates as new owners move in and locals visit
Improvements on the house recently purchased by Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hay's at 307 North Twentieth street will be completed soon and they expect to take possession promptly. L. E. Lawrence formerly owned the house. Frank Linneman and family entertain Mrs. Wannah Linneman and Mrs. A. Hardy of Gordon Nebraska. Miss Olive Miller is recovering from hospital surgery and hopes to return home near Saturday. Visitors include Glen Wright of Mendon, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Rocks of Canton, professor of Latin Culverstockton College, C. W. Miller of Marceline, and John Schott, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. C. Schott of Kentucky street, home from the University of Illinois.
