French airman Jules Vedrines killed in attempted Rome flight
Paris reports Jules Vedrines a famed French aviator and early aviation pioneer died today when his plane crashed at Les Fouillouse during a non stop attempt from Villa Coublay to Rome. State waterway funding sought for Illinois project
