Notorious city keeper found dead with tubing device
In a downtown room at the corner of South Clark and Monros streets a man known as a keeper of concerts and a pretty waiter girl was found dead with a tube in his mouth attached to a gas burner. Coroner’s jury notes he had long contemplated suicide and several feet of worn rubber tubing were discovered nearby. In Jarrettsville Maryland Miss Cairns shot and killed Nicholas McComas at the village hotel arch, firing three shots amid an alleged seduction motive.
