Water Board reaffirms decision on fall water hold for spring release
Arch Hurley Conservancy District reaffirms its Sept. 11 vote to withhold water this fall and wait until March to allocate irrigation water. Chair Larry Perkins says water delivery could begin in March if weather permits. Conchas Lake has risen over 20 feet since July, now at 4176.46 feet, enabling potential allocations of 9.5 inches per acre across 41,000 acres, subject to acreage planted and other variables.
