Crescent Creamery brewery plans never came to life in Tucumcari
Former owner Thomas McGill described exploring options for transforming the century old Crescent Creamery on East Main into a microbrewery. Drawings for New Crescent Brewery showed a 30 tank system, bottling line, tasting room and soda production. McGill said pushback from a Baptist church and lack of motivation ended the effort. The building recently sold to Kristian Kaseman of Pittsburgh who faces major code upgrades after roof damage.
