A 51-year-old California man, Jose Licea Alvarez of San Bernardino, died at the scene after two semi trucks collided on I 40 near mile 351 east of Tucumcari. The 2016 Freightliner with two trailers overturned, blocking lanes, and a 2013 Freightliner eastbound could not avoid the wreck. Both drivers were injured. police say the crash remains under investigation.
