Hearst Millsite becomes Silver City's new green space
Silver City prepares to acquire the three acre Hearst Millsite area along Silver Street and Pinos Altos Creek. The site, once home to the 10 and later 20 stamp Pacific Quartz Mills, is now a rewilded urban refuge with wildlife and opportunistic human activity.
