Arch Hurley Board Eyes 2022 Water Plans
Arch Hurley Conservancy District directors ended 2021 without water allocations and looked to 2022. Conchas Lake fed the system at 4,162.7 feet with 1,139 acre feet in and 3,041 acre feet lost to evaporation in September. Ideal move: allocate in February with canal clearing to follow, while drought conditions and aging infrastructure spur possible federal funding.
