Tucumcari council approves pay raise and sales bid
The Tucumcari City Commission gave second and final Reading to a salary increase for the mayor city commissioners and municipal judge setting annual pay at seven thousand eight hundred four six six thousand and seventeen thousand seven hundred ninety. The panel also approved selling city property at 407 East Maple Avenue with a minimum bid of two thousand dollars and considered leasing two hundred acres east of Tucumcari Municipal Airport for grazing. The body okayed a Ram pickup for the wastewater department at sixty five thousand four hundred sixty two and a Doctech mailer and postage machine contract for four years. It also backed wastewater reuse project funding nine hundred seventy one thousand and a three point two one million Clean Water State Revolving Fund grant assignment, plus an ARP subgrant for transportation and leadership changes on the Ledgers Tax Advisory Board.
