Mesalands to Dedicate New Wind Research Center
Mesalands Community College will dedicate its 26 000 square foot North American Wind Research and Training Center at a Thursday ceremony. The project began in 2009 after a 7 million bond in 2008 and includes a blade maintenance complex and wind turbine power supply. Public tours run Wednesday morning and Thursday afternoon, with 58 wind energy students eager to use the facility.
