Carden-Johnson Circus Dates Set For Tucumcari Fundraiser
On May 19 1971 the Carden Johnson Circus brings three rings and 42 acts to Tucumcari High School stadium for two performances in one day to raise funds for the Tucumcari Shriners and their hospitals for crippled children. The New Mexico Aviation Board approved 20912 dollars for Conchas Lake Airport improvements including extended tie down apron a new taxiway and paved access road. The Odeon Theatre shows Tarzans Deadly Silence and Tarzan and the Valley of Gold.
