Joyce Louise Mitchell age 91 died March 7 2012 at her Logan New Mexico residence after an extended illness. She was born September 14 1920 in Tucumcari New Mexico to Elmer August and Myrtie Bruhn and was a homemaker. Survivors include son Elmer Mitchell and wife Pat of Yukon Oklahoma daughters Martie Holtom and husband Neil of Michigan Ora Greenstreet and Ed of Dalhart Texas six grandchildren sixteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Services were held May 12 2012 at the Logan Assembly of God Church with pastors Ray Clark and Ward Garrison officiating. Interment followed at Logan Cemetery. Arrangements by Dunn Funeral Home Tucumcari New Mexico.
James Tuffy Henry Hartsfield 41 of Holiday Island Arkansas died March 11 2012 at home from diabetes. He was born January 7 1971 in Tucumcari New Mexico and worked at Wal Mart Electronics. Memorial service April 5 2012 at Holiday Island Community Church. Memorials to Make A Wish Foundation.
Katherin E Renwick 85 of Rio Rancho NM formerly Cochiti Lake area died March 21 2012 born July 22 1926 in Tucumcari NM she helped found the Albuquerque Archaeological Society and was known for restoring fragile Native American pottery Funeral services were held March 27 2012 at Daniels Family Funeral Services Sara Chapel Rio Rancho NM Interment at Vista Verde Memorial Park Rio Rancho NM She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Renwick in 2009 and is survived by her sons and extended family.
