Community donations and spring events in Tucumcari

Alvin Woodburn of Clovis donated 75 rose bushes to the Tucumcari Parks and Recreation Commission for Dunn Park on South Fourth Street. The Tucumcari Does raise funds for a German measles immunization clinic with a $500 goal to cover all Quay County preschoolers. The Odeon Theatre promotes Doctor Doolittle with an Easter bunny giveaway and Swiss Family Robinson later in the week. Canal Drive-In shows The Good Guys and the Bad Guys and Meet in the Heat of Fire Creek, with an Easter egg hunt planned Sunday.
