Tucumcari pharmacist faces four felony counts
Bob's Budget Pharmacy owner in Tucumcari, McClelland, is charged with four felonies including unlawfully obtaining dangerous drugs and forgery. He was arrested Feb 3 and free on a $20,000 bond. Accusations center on prescriptions written for family, a 2015 Feb lorazepam order, and a clonazepam refill deemed improper under state rules. A preliminary exam is set for March 5 before Judge Garnett.

Tucumcari imposes open burning ban amid drought risk
City Manager Jared Langenegger announced a Monday start for an open burning ban due to drought and high fire danger.
