The Quay County Commission approved purchasing the Turquoise office building at 1100 East High for 195000 from Full Circle Holdings to relocate offices and relieve courthouse congestion. Funding comes from capital improvement funds with zero interest NMFA loan repaid from gross receipts taxes.

Summer Adventure Camp and Dribblers Camp Dates Set
Mesalands Community College hosts its Summer Adventure Camp tied to the Find Your Way campaign with multiple events. Tucumcari Elementary Gym hosts the Little Dribblers basketball camp Fridays through June 26 for grades 1-2 8 to 12 and grades 3-5 1 to 5 with no cost. The Tucumcari City Commission meets at 6 p.m. Thursday at City Hall to discuss funding for the Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Fired Up event.
