Tucumcari Cruelty Trial Briefs Set For August Fourth

A pre trial conference on animal cruelty charges against Tucumcari Mayor Antonio Apodaca is scheduled for August 4 after a July 15 postponement due to the prosecutor's unavailability. The case, charged with one count for an alleged April 19 incident, is now prosecuted by Officer Clay Cullison with the Quay County District Attorney's office declining to prosecute. Apodaca, 61, maintains innocence.

Tucumcari THS Registration And Rattlers Football Camp

High school registration for Tucumcari schools runs August 5 to 7 with morning and afternoon blocks for new students.
