Bond funds eyed for Tucumcari district improvements
McKinney said a bond to fund school improvements is needed for the community as 1,500 to 2,000 pamphlets explain the proposal. White said 4,352 registered voters will receive mail ballots, with an anticipated lower undeliverable count than last year. The election will cost at least $10,000 and the district missed a filing deadline due to bonding company communication issues.
