A Quay County sheriff deputy collapsed after exposure to fentanyl during a random adult probation home visit in Tucumcari. Narcan used on scene, deputy hospitalized then returned to duty. Suspects Samitra D. Hurd and another resident were arrested on fentanyl related charges and later faced child abuse warrants. both remained jailed.
